My relationship with Monocle has been a long-standing one. Reliably informative and introducing me to the people from around the world, I was eager to understand what makes working for Monocle 24 and the magazine so rewarding.

Birds have generally found themselves involved in mysticism, religion, folklore and artistic culture of many civilizations which have passed through this planet, each one attributing to them their own meanings.

We asked Matthew Brooks to tell us more about his passion of all "soaps vintage" and introduce us to his new online magazine "the Soap Journal". We feel intrigue, more knowledgeable about soaps and certainly cleaner.

I fell in love the first time I shot a minimal landscape photo. One morning I watched a stand-up paddler out in the middle of a calm sea that stretched out far around him. A speck in a sea of negative space.
