In early 2013, the New Heroes & Pioneers publishing house – based in Malmö, Sweden – was little more than the kernel of an idea in our minds. Our plan was to develop and publish a range of coffee table books containing a smart, interesting and eclectic mixture of art, culture and fashion.
What made this concept unique, was that we were, right from the beginning, dedicated to being a vehicle for discovering and promoting new and unknown artists whose singular styles and perspectives make them stand out. The concepts of ‘making human connections’ and ‘giving back’ were woven into the fabric of the corporate culture and have become a clear and conscious part of every project since the company’s inception.

Publisher, marketer and cultural devourer, Francois’s main occupation is to read. When he does not read, he is also a big movie fan .. and reads about them. Francois curiosity about things and people are what motivates him to learn and now write.
Native Scanian who likes organizing things in neat lists. She has a large collection of jazz vinyls (organized alphabetically of course), but isn’t as pretentious as that may sound. Her main obsession in life is movies and she will talk ceaselessly about it unless you stop her.
Lifestyle photographer in the purest sense, focusing on regular people and how they lead their lives. Through his photography, blogs, books and non-profit initiatives, he aims to inspire, share knowledge and make new connections.
Born and raised Swede who accidentally left her heart on the streets of Melbourne and ever since has been trying to plot out how to return. Loves to wear burgundy, read Bukowski and discuss why monogamy is the biggest lie of our time.
Jake Haynes is a London-born Montreal-raised Malmö resident. When he's not obsessing about specialty coffee or beer, he's designing and hand crafting leather accessories, or cycling around offending people's sensibilities with his spandex bike shorts.
Roxanne Sancto is a freelance writer currently specialising
in TV and culture. She reviews all your favourite shows for
Paste Magazine and Little White Lies, and provides copy for
TNHP's beautiful book projects. When she's not out on adventures
with her dog Blues, or cuddling random donkeys, she can usually
be found painting in Sukhasana, dreaming up her next crazy idea.
Lene Haugerud is a Norwegian freelance writer and editor, she loves to travel the world, seeking out both cultural and culinary delights on her way.
Guido Pellegrini is a writer and journalist. Born in Spain, he spent most of his life in California and is now living in Argentina. He has covered films, museum exhibits, restaurants, sports events, and political elections. He has too many interests and too little time to pursue them. Silvana grew up in Australia in the 70s. She currently lives in the south-east of Sicily, sharing this experience in the blogsite Sicily Lemon Garden. Born in northwest England in a corner of the country often neglected – Cumbria. Work has taken me to many places; London, Paris, Tokyo and Singapore now lately Nairobi. Passions include opera, good wine, fine dining, travel.
