The Book

The book is a mixture of iconic landmarks, interesting streets, and less well-known places (which deserve better recognition) to showcase the enigmatic spirit of this city through a local resident, Matt Porter.

About the Book

What will you find inside The Weekender – London Volume 1

Whilst the flow of the book will incorporate the long weekend trajectory, the mixture of content means that a reader is both influenced by Matt’s imagery of the city without explicitly having to follow a specific route but allow them to adventure at will. You will find food spots, stores, parks and cultural highlights to showcase the city in a new light.

The book contains a host of wonderful and interesting spots around North, Central and East London. This includes modern restaurants, cosy pubs, design shops and sprawling parkland. London has so much to offer, but the places inside this volume of the Weekender are some of the photographer’s personal favourites.
